Dr. Ferguson is a Senior Research Fellow in Biostatistics at National University of Ireland Galway. He has a PhD. in statistics from Yale University (2009). He has expertise in the development of statistical methodologies and data-analysis applied to a variety of areas of relevance to the secretariat, including genomics, medicine and record linkage. His current interests focus on the application of causal inference to chronic disease epidemiology.
