On 5th March 2025, the European Health Data Space Regulation was officially published in the Official Journal of the European Union. It entered into force on 26 March 2025, marking the beginning of the transition phase towards application.
The EHDS Regulation is a transformative initiative that aims to enhance healthcare across Europe by improving access, re-use, and interoperability of health data. This has significant impact for secondary data and research.
