NEW: The HRCDC welcomes a new committee member – Eben Stewart

Eben is a retired secondary school teacher. He taught Biology, Science and Physical Education in the U.K. and Ireland. He took early retirement to be a care partner for his wife, who was diagnosed with young onset Lewy body dementia. He now uses his time advocating for improved resources, and increased awareness of Lewy body dementia. His is currently chair of the PPI Emerald Lewy research project. He is also a member of the PPI for Dementia Trials Ireland.

We welcome Eben’s input on the committee and he attended his first HRCDC meeting on 8th September 2026.
